Holy Bountiful Baskets!
Here's the list of stuff I got:
8 Bananas
1 head of Romaine Lettuce
1 head of Cauliflower
1 bundle of Broccoli
6 ears of Corn
1 Cantaloupe
2 Avocados
1 Butternut Squash
14 Oranges
9 Honey Crisp Apples
20 small Red Potatoes
3 Mangoes
10 KiwisI even shared some with my sister-in-law, Lindsey.
If anyone is interested in doing this, they do it every other weekend at the Coral Cliffs Cinemas. You have to get on their site: http://www.bountifulbaskets.org/
on Tuesday and order your basket. My suggestion: unless your family eats alot of fruits and vegetables, share it with someone else...
We Finally Have a Front Yard
We have had the curbing for quite a while, but Chris got his friend Joe to help him figure out how much gravel, grass and plants to order. I think it turned out GREAT!
I took these pictures at night because we have lights around the yard, and I wanted to show them...
We are really enjoying having grass in the front, it has helped with the "dirt" coming in. Now we need to tackle the back yard. But that's going to have to wait for awhile!

Thanksgiving Feast “Winder Style”
We had a Great Thanksgiving Feast this year… Its always fun to get together with siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends. Brad smoked the turkey this year. We had Grandma’s home-made noodles (that is always a must!) Everyone brought YUMMY things to go along with our Thanksgiving dinner!

This WAS our year!
This group of boys are some of the best kids that have ever gone through Hurricane High School!
THE STATE PLAYOFF GAME…
THE HALLS WERE LINED WITH STUDENTS WITH RED AND BLACK BALLOONS…
THE STUDENTS FOLLOWED THE TEAM OUT THE DOOR AND LINED UP ALONG THE STREET. THERE WAS EVEN A POLICE ESCORT. WE LET THE BALLOONS GO WHEN THE BUS WENT PAST.
THE EDWARD’S FAMILY WENT AHEAD OF THE BUS AND PUT UP SIGNS ON THE OVER-PASSES.
THE TEAM CAME OUT AND THERE WAS SO MUCH EXCITEMENT! WE KNEW IT WAS OUR YEAR! WE HELD THESE “GIANTS” TO 2 FIELD GOALS ALL GAME. WE FINALLY SCORED WITH ABOUT 45 SECONDS LEFT IN THE GAME!!! WE WERE THE WINNERS! THEY HAD MOVED DOWN THE FIELD ENOUGH THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE PLAY LEFT WITH 2.9 SECONDS ON THE CLOCK, THEIR QUARTERBACK THREW A HAIL-MARY PASS AND THE RECEIVER CAUGHT IT IN THE END ZONE… YOU COULD HAVE HEARD A PIN DROP--- WE WERE IN DISBELIEF!!! THAT WAS THE WORST POSSIBLE WAY TO LOSE! THE BOYS WERE ALL SO CRUSHED!
THE NEXT DAY BRADEN AND HIS GROUP OF FRIENDS (ABOUT 15 OF THEM) SPENT THE ENTIRE DAY TOGETHER JUST SUPPORTING EACH-OTHER! IT WAS AWESOME HOW THESE BOYS REALLY BONDED THAT DAY! I'M REALLY GRATEFUL TO THIS GROUP OF BOYS. THEY HAVE BEEN THE BEST OF FRIENDS AND HAVE PLAYED FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, AND JUST HUNG OUT TOGETHER SINCE 7TH GRADE. THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO FIND SOME KIND OF MISCHIEF TO GET INTO, BUT I BELIEVE THAT THEY WILL MAKE GREAT MISSIONARIES, HUSBANDS, DADS, BISHOPS, AND WHATEVER ELSE THEY PUT THEIR MINDS TO DOING SOMEDAY! I LOVE THEM ALL AND AM VERY PROUD TO BE CALLED "MAMA HURST"!
